GIS Specialist
Experience and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in a GIS-specific role
- Experience with Esri products such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, ArcCatalog, and ArcGIS Online (Field Maps, Survey123, Experience Builder, Dashboards)
- Experience with Microsoft Power Automate
- Field experience using a GPS collection device a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Field experience using a GPS collection device a plus
- AutoCAD or Civil3D experience a plus
- Experience interpreting land record data, deeds, and filed maps a plus
- This is a GISP-track position
- Candidate should possess good communication, verbal, and technical writing skills.
- The applicant must have a valid driver’s license or be able to secure a valid New Jersey driver’s license at time of employment

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ArcGIS web applications and dashboards
- Review projects completed by Technicians and Interns
- Provide Project Management support
- Create, Maintain, and Organize geographic and tabular data in various geodatabase settings
- Provide final deliverables for static and interactive mapping
- Perform field work in all weather conditions on an as-needed basis
- Provide data digitizing support at a municipal-wide scale
- Research information materials and data sources
- Support and work directly with GIS Manager and Survey/Geospatial Department Head
