Neglia Group is seeking a full-time Survey CAD Technician to join our expanding Surveying Department and work at our Lyndhurst, New Jersey location. We are looking for a highly motivated and technology minded individual who will be responsible for the use of AutoCAD (Civil3D) to draft survey related projects including preparation of Municipal Tax Maps.

Our services extend throughout northern and central New Jersey and into New York. We are looking to expand our surveying department and the successful candidate will report to the firm’s Director of Surveying/Geospatial.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work under minimum supervision to import survey data and prepare final drawings
- Prepare Tax Maps in accordance with State Regulations (Training Provided)
- Analyze notes, sketches, and other survey related data and plan the best approach to develop and complete the drawings within project deadlines
- Prepare quality and detailed mapping within budget and responsive to clients’ needs
Position Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D and processing survey computations
- Ability to plot deeds and filed (recorded) maps
- Good technical skills; works independent but also works well within a team environment, problem solver, methodical, consistent, quick learner, detail oriented
- Good understanding of survey requirements and regulations
- Willingness to learn and grow with the team
