Neglia Group provided Engineering services to the Maria Road Pump Station, one of the stations in The Borough of Woodcliff Lake’s sanitary sewage collection system. These services included upgrades and improvements to the existing sanitary sewer pump station. Installed in the 1970s, the pump was at the end of its life. The two new pumps installed over the wet well held the same total dynamic head (TDH) as the existing pumps. They were fitted with a cutter-type impeller, designed to cut rags and large solids, eliminating the need for a separate bar screen. The pumps, valves, and control panel were installed in a fiberglass enclosure. Neglia also provided services of surveying, design, and regulatory permitting to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) for Treatment Works Approval (TWA).
