Belleville Park Improvements

Essex County engaged Neglia Group to provide design and construction management services for improvements at Belleville Park. A key component of the project was the conversion of an existing baseball field into a new synthetic turf soccer field, enclosed with a black vinyl-coated chain link fence to enhance both durability and visual appeal. Additionally, two baseball fields were reconstructed, featuring new synthetic turf infields paired with natural grass outfields. Neglia successfully addressed stormwater drainage in the baseball field area by connecting to an existing inlet located approximately two hundred feet away, carefully routing the connection through old-growth trees to preserve the natural landscape. The baseball fields were further enhanced with new dugout shelters and chain link fence backstops.
