Neglia is proud to announce that the Gunnell Oval improvements project in Kearny, NJ has received Second Place in the 2021 NJSME Municipal Project of the Year Awards!

The award was presented at the 2021 New Jersey State League of Municipalities Conference in Atlantic City.

Pictured below is project manager David Silva, who worked very closely with Kearny and oversaw design, permitting, and construction efforts. A big congratulations to the entire team involved!

The Bergen County Zoo has a new exhibit! Neglia provided Design Engineering and Construction Management services for the Rare Red Wolf exhibit, nestled in Van Saun Park. A great family-friendly addition in the County, with educational benefits for all.

The field at Belleville’s Municipal Stadium made its debut this past Friday night for a classic game under the lights. Neglia provided Survey, Engineering Design, and Construction Management Services and will continue with Phase 2 through Spring 2022. Good luck to the Buccaneers for the rest of the season!

Neglia provided Survey, Design, and Construction Management services on a recently paved municipal parking lot in Hackensack, NJ. Thank you to our partners at D.S. The first 100% recyclable baseball turf field in New Jersey was recently opened at Snyder Avenue Park in Berkeley Heights! Neglia provided design and construction management services on this Union County park. The field base is made from walnut shell and a mixture of coconut and cork – a truly one of a kind playing experience. Big thanks to The LandTek Group, Inc., Shaw Sports Turf, and Athletic Fields of America for partnering on this exciting project!

Over the years, Neglia has delivered on numerous improvements to Rahway River Park in Union County, NJ! This includes new playing fields, pools, and pedestrian bridges. We found a historic aerial view and compared it to present day conditions.

Official groundbreaking took place this past weekend at Belleville’s Municipal Stadium. Field improvements are underway and will continue throughout the summer. A great community cornerstone redesigned with the future in mind!
