Neglia Group (Neglia) provided full site engineering design services for a new office building located on Sylvan Avenue in the Borough of Englewood Cliffs. As one of the last underdeveloped parcels along the “Trillion Dollar Mile,” there were numerous site-specific obstacles related to freshwater wetlands, state open water, archaeological considerations, and access constraints that needed to be overcome in order to develop the property.

Neglia’s responsibilities included base map surveying, conceptual design layout, design development and construction drawings, expert municipal land use board testimony, NJDEP Land Use Permitting, and NJDOT access permitting. Neglia worked with the applicant to secure all necessary regulatory approvals in order to develop the property with a new 32,000 sf office building with required parking, drainage, landscaping, lighting and new utility services.
