DeMuro Park Track and Tennis Courts Improvements

The Township of Nutley selected Neglia Group to help renovate the DeMuro Track and Tennis Courts. The project was supported by Green Acres funding and subject to the Green Acres guidelines and reimbursement criteria. The scope of the project included replacing the track surface and field event area for pole vault and long jump, resurfacing, and striping the tennis courts, and installing new tennis court nets and fencing. Neglia’s role was to manage various aspects of the project, such as providing schematic plans and exhibits, scheduling coordination with the selected contractor (American Athletic Courts, Inc.), and creating submissions to NJDEP Green Acres for project tracking and reimbursement. Neglia sent a Principal Engineer to make regular visits to the site to observe the work in progress and provide reports to the governing body.
