Neglia Group is seeking a skilled and motivated Professional Civil Engineer (PE) / Client Manager to join our team in Lyndhurst, NJ. The ideal candidate will hold an active New Jersey PE license and have 4–5 years of experience in civil or municipal engineering. Key responsibilities include site plan design, grant preparation, project planning and budgeting, participation in municipal meetings, financial tracking, preparation of bid documents, and staff management.

Experience and Requirements

  • Professional Engineer’s License in good standing in New Jersey
  • 4 – 5 Years experience in Civil / Municipal Engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
  • Prior project managing experience including budgeting

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Site plan design and preparation of specifications
  • Preparation of and management of NJDOT Local Aid, Open Space, and CDBG grant applications and programs
  • Project planning, including providing recommendations, preparing cost estimates, and developing solutions
  • Attend necessary municipal, board, town, and other relevant meetings
  • Financial project tracking and budget analysis
  • High level client interaction and management
  • Preparation of public bid documents
  • Management and training of staff
