Official groundbreaking took place this past weekend at Belleville’s Municipal Stadium. Field improvements are underway and will continue throughout the summer. A great community cornerstone redesigned with the future in mind!

NJ.com provides an update on the progress at the Gunnell Oval Municipal Sports and Recreation Complex in Kearny, NJ.

“Much of the reconstruction of the low-lying 23-acre site — of which 16 acres are devoted to actual playing spaces — involves installing storm water management controls keyed to an artificial turf drainage system, water detention systems, two water quality devices complying with state standards and improved discharge capability with a new stormwater outfall.”
