Wood Dale County Park Pond Renovation

Neglia Group (Neglia) was selected by the Bergen County Department of Parks to provide Professional Engineering Services and Construction Management Services for the Wood Dale County Park Pond Renovation Project. Below are the project details of the services that were provided.

• Neglia was responsible for preparing necessary materials for the General Permit Application, Stream Encroachment Application, and Soil Erosion certification
• Neglia made available an inspector on site to perform plan and specification compliance inspections of the project as it progressed
• Engineering support services were provided, including: making visits to the site, providing reports to the Parks Department, observing initial operation of the project, attending weekly progress meetings with the contractor and the county to discuss current and upcoming issues, reviewing and approving requests for monthly and final payments to contractors, making a final inspection and report to the completed project, and issuing a certificate of completion for the Bergen County Department of Parks upon completion of construction contracts
• Neglia prepared an overall concept plan indicating proposed improvements, framing and decking plans, and final construction plans and specifications
